The Maya Empire
The Mayas, the "Children of the Corn", never invented the wheel, but they were wonderful builders. They built huge pyramids, massive ball courts, and roads through the rainforest that connected their fabulous cities. They believed in many gods and goddesses, and believed demons could reach through a mirror and grab them! They loved hats. Some of their hats were taller than they were!
